Then after winning that they got in to the Grand Final and faced St Kilda, who had a outstanding home and away season record, at 20 and 2 to geelong's 18 and 4. It was a close encounter, though Geelong won their second premiership in three years, thanks to a Paul Chapman snap late in the 4th Quarter.
