Geelong’s 2009 AFL Final Series Montage
Highlights of the Geelong Cats 2009 Finals Series, Geelong beat Western Bulldogs and Collingwood, then beat St Kilda in the Grand Final on September 26th 2009 at the MCG, in front of an attendance 99251 people. The First Final Geelong played was against the 3rd place Western Bulldogs, they won that 14.12 (96) to 12.10 (82). Geelong than had the week of after defeating the bulldogs. They then played Collingwood in the 3rd Week and beat them, 17.18 (120) to 7.5 (47). Then after winning that they got in to the Grand Final and faced St Kilda, who had a outstanding home and away season record, at 20 and 2 to geelong's 18 and 4. It was a close encounter, though Geelong won their second premiership in three years, thanks to a Paul Chapman snap late in the 4th Quarter. Paul Chapman ended up winning the Norm Smith Medalist after kicking three great goals and 26 effective possessions. Geelong The Greatest Team Of All. Go Cats!!!!
