There really is nothing to debate. They style of play and type of contact are so different that you cant sit there and say that one or the other is dominant. One thing I notice is that the athletes in this video are built for agility and endurance rather than hits. Seems that most contact is made as people are going up for a ball and then down. In the nfl hits are very head and shoulder first and very direct which is why helmets are required. Hits in australian football seem indirect.

so what? it’s a different sport dude, they really shouldn’t be compared…american football and australian football are really different..obviously. the players need to be stronger in different area…i.e. bigger body mass is better for group tackles and american football aspects, while for this sport it’s important to be in a different type of shape….nfl isn’t the end all be all, and yes i am american.
